Training is one of the most integral parts of an
organization's success. Hooters understands that and prides
itself on its internal training programs. Hooters has training
programs for every level employee from cooks to accountants,
managers to area supervisors.

MANAGER IN TRAINING PROGRAM
This is a comprehensive 9-week program that rotates newly
hired managers through every position in our operation.
Managers in Training begin by learning the hourly positions and
then progress on to the manager on duty functions.
There are weekly tests and projects that must be completed
during training.
Managers in Training are supervised throughout training
by the management teams and regional supervisors of the Manager
Training Stores. We have training stores in each market, so
travel to another city is not required during training.
Upon completion of the Manager in Training Program, our new
managers enter the ranks knowledgeable and prepared to handle
the operations of Hooters
MANAGEMENT PHASE DEVELOPMENT
Hooters strongly believes that gaining knowledge never
ends. Once the Manager in Training Program has been completed, the
Management Development Phases begin. These phases are designed
to keep the managers constantly learning and motivated to get to
the next level.
The phases are designed to take the mangers through the
day-to-day running of shifts to effectively promoting their
stores. Each phase is geared toward the level of the manager
in that phase.
Each time a manager is promoted, they enter a new development
phase. The learning never stops!
HOOTERS BOOT CAMP
Shortly after the initial manager training, we bring our new
managers to our Dallas home office for an action packed, 3-day
"Boot Camp" that better prepares them for management 101.
HOOTERS UNIVERSITY
After our managers have been working in the stores for
awhile and are working on completing the management development
phases, we again bring them to the home office for a Hooters U
class.
Hooters U contains more advanced learning to help our managers
grow in their career with Hooters.
